Hey Y'All...
My Check Engine light has been on & off intermittently for the last several thousand miles. I had it looked at several months back and was told it's a faulty glow plug circuit and that the recommendation was to change the glow plugs and the glow plug relay.
I was told at the time that it would cost over $400 for the repair.
I declined to do it at the time, but was wondering how important it is to do?
Is it damaging to my vehicle to operate the vehicle as it is right now?
Also....what might happen if the Check Engine comes on and it's because of a different issue?
Are there dangerous issues that involve the Check Engine light? For example, if I think it's no big deal because it's a glow plug issue and then it turns into a major problem because it's related to something else?
