2004 sprinter 3500 no fuel pump sound with key on

cold starts (below +20F) have always been tough even with block heater here in MN
i usually cycle glow plug light four or five times and hear fuel pump sound
today no fuel pump sound and no start but does fire on a cylinder or two
help please!

Fuel pump may have frozen water in it, add fuel anti-freeze, warm tank with hair dryer or safely with propane heater.
Fuel pump relay may be lose under seat or corroded connections at relay
