For those of you that have purchased the 2014 NCV3 Sprinters equipped with the
OM-651 2.143 liter I4 (OM-651) and the 7 speed (7G-Tronic) transmission there is a new part number
for the transmission dipstick:
Part number is 722-589-00-21-00 and it’s $53.00 at your local authorized Mercedes Benz
Sprinter dealer.
This is the 722.9 series transmission and the dipstick is different that the previous
722.6 (5G-Tronic/NAG-1) 5 speed transmission.
I have the new dipstick on order, and hope to be able to do a photo comparison of the
2 dipsticks.
