I followed Roger's advice as well and am very pleased with the results.

The only aggravation is the effect on the odometer -- speedo used to read 3 mph low at 60, now it's 5 mph high, but this is easy to solve and a Scangauge does all the math. More annoying to me is that the odometer now indicates less miles than are actually traveled so I have to correct for fuel mileage, maintenance schedules, etc.
But thats all a small price to pay for a decent selection of tires, at 9900 pounds I shred 8-ply tires in 40,000 miles.
PS Dan, the slightly smaller rim width did not trouble my friend who has owned the gas station for 40 years, nor did it make the machine snort and smoke.
