I have an NCV3 with 30,000km and I was getting an occasional warning that water was in the fuel system. I took it in to the shop as suggested and they replaced my fuel filter including the warning sensor but warned me about the importance of purchasing quality Low Sulphur Diesel and suggested that I switch stations as it is abnormal to have water in the fuel at such low mileage and I can be in for big repair costs out of warranty.
My question is: What is/are the most important concerns that I/we should be aware of here in Ontario Canada with respect to fuel purchasing?
1) Is it more important to find a fueling station that provides "Ultra Low Sulphur" or is it more important to find a fueling station that has high turn over?
2) Is there any way to determine the best location for fueling in your area?
3) Is it really necessary to concern ourselves with this worry of where to fuel up?
