That is one of them older UK taxi cabs.

There are the newer versions that I've seen stateside in the metropolitan areas and airports.

yes, although i don't think he was using it as a taxi because there were no local license tags for that. but it was still complete as it came from the uk. it still had the divider window and the left front fold down jump seat. notice he is running bio-diesel.

It's a London black cab made by London taxi international (LTI ) Early models were fitted with either BMC 2.2 diesels , Landrover 2.25 lt diesel engine , some had Perkins in them & later models were fitted with Ford Transit 2.5 diesels . The very early motors would burn anything vaguely flammable & are ideal for biofuel use . Find the bloody things everywhere in UK slow & smelly ,but loved by tourists ( not a clue why )
