Problem: strange effects following an https YouTube reference??

All of the text following the standard YouTube reference ended up underlined and italicized.

I tried gambits like inserting a (u) (/u) pair between the YouTube and the following text,
and i also tried a (url) (/url) pair. Neither canceled the effect.
I remember running into this once before, and i think i punted a correction, but i can't remember how...

Let's see if it happens here, too:
First a human-readable quasi-copy (the "XX" are "tt", the YYY are www, the TOOB is tube):
(url)hXXps://YYY.youTOOB.com/watch?v=HQ5u-l9Je0s(/url)

now the "real thing":

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQ5u-l9Je0s

This text will be affected if the problem recurs. (he previews the post to see the effect)
Yes, it did.

AHH! Playing with this copy, i see that removing the "s" from https fixes the problem.
(now, if i could only remember that for the future.... :bash: )
...but it would be nicer if it didn't happen...
(i'm leaving it in place so that sikwan (et al) can see the symptom)
