It has been very stiff to adjust outside mirror.
And finally I broke the glass couple of days ago, and I got a new mirror today from a dealer.

I removed the glass, and I saw that there is a something that I can loose or tight.
However I soon found that it is either 100% loose or 100% tight, not between of them.
So If I loose it, my mirror move very very easily..
And If I tight it , my mirror doesn't move at all.

Will WD-40 help some?

Thank you for any help.

And one more..

While installing new glass, the mirror got some dirt.
So I cleaned it with dish soap.
And after installing the new glass, I found that the view through the new glass is weird..
It looks like to see through convex lens or concave lens..
I can't see objects clearly though the new glass.

I'm wondering if I got a defected one or dish soap gave some chemical effect..

The part # what I got is 002-811-11-33

Hi , what i did with mine is use some silicone based grease on the domed part behind the mirror , but first take it apart and clean it well then reasemble and grease up tighten up and it will be good.
Cheers Maz.

I see this problem all the time. Take the mirror off and work some white grease into the socket, it will help.

I bought a small bag of "grease for brake" from Autozone.
It cost under $2, and it looks similar with this one(http://www.streetsideauto.com/p/permatex-09973/?utm_source=googlepepla&utm_medium=adword&gclid=CKj07_jNtr0CFROVfgodYE0AUg)

I am not sure if it is the right one or the best one for the purpose.
However, after applying, the mirror moved much better.

Thank you for reply.
