Not sure about the sprinter but i know in other mb vehicles of that vintage you have to calibrate the steering angle sensor after the starting battery has been disconnected. You just run the engine then turn the wheel lock to lock one time and the esp light will go out.
I tried that still reading the same. gives me code U0438, C0d2e, C0d3, B1353
And a B101c my scan tool says to look it up in the factory literature which i dont have.
confused.....is the SRS (airbag) light on ??????? if yes........ cable reel in the steering likely has a problem. If the cable reel is broken or loose internal connections etc it can not be reset or repaired and must be replaced.
Did you fit cruise control or take the steering wheel apart?
Sounds like the steering wheel sensor might be upside down!
I did this by mistake after fitting cc... Be aware if you drive it, the vehicle will lock the brakes hard if it thinks the wheels have gone through some silly angle!
