Hello all

Having problems with my 2010 316. Suffering from poor cold starting, reduced power and higher fuel consumption. Throwing up code P2BAC which is EGR disabled, high NOX. Dealer has cleaned EGR and claims this has sorted out problem. However still getting symptoms. Help??

P2BAC......what did you use to obtain this DTC Code?
It's not showing up in Eric Ord's The Complete Sprinter Fault Code Guide Volume 2 2007-2010.
So, it must be a generic code...obtained with a non Sprinter specific diagnostic tool and might mean
something and then again could be completely bogus.
If you really want to know what's causing your issues, take it to an Authorized Mercedes Benz Sprinter dealer and
get the MB codes/sub codes/mileages/engine info/# of repetitive faults.... from the MB SDS diagnostic system.
The actual results should be printed out on your invoice.
Then you will have a better understanding of what's really wrong and can replace the parts/ modules that are
actually causing the problem.
If you are not @ > 100k miles....the EGR issues are covered under your 100k Emissions warranty!
