Sudden rsn

Does rsn come on all of a sudden or is it gradual? It started happening today pretty bad. When coming to a stop from second down to first. I always had the rsn on acceleration from about 40 to 50 mph but never on decel. Hope it warms up soon. Time for darf mod I guess.

I've had rsn on coming to a stop since my fluid change (Amsoil vs OEM). It goes away once the transmission is warm. I wish I had thought of getting Dr. A's mod during the change.

Own a DAD ODB2 Unit.
You can get it if your trans fluid level is low. Check it while the engine is warmed up and running (in park) on level ground with the proper Mercedes Transmission dip stick.

Rumble Strip Noise is most common on deceleration or a feather light hold on steady slow speed, not on acceleration. That may be a different cause like an unbalanced driveshaft or worn steady hangar bearing FWIW.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I will check my fluid and report back. FYI it does it after the trans warms up only.
