Ok folks, another newbie question. I think my tc is not locking up. The reason I say this is because I think my fuel mileage has fell off and engine appears to be running higher rpm. I have not had this thing long so I might be way off here.
I am thinking that at steady speed, let's say 60 mph, fully up to temp, in drive, I should be able to keep right foot on accelerator and tap brake with left foot and see an rpm jump. Not a downshift, but the converter unlocking then locking back in. I'm from old school. This may not apply. Correct me if wrong.
I'm seeing about 2200-2400 rpm Is this about right.
