2013 Sprinter check engine light on

Check engine light came on 2 days ago.
Dealership is an hour away.
I went to Auto zone and they pulled a code manually that came up P24A5.
They could not tell me what it meant.
Anybody have anything like this going on?
11,000 miles on vehicle.
No software updates have been done on it.
Also, feels like it cuts out for a split second intermittently at around 20 miles an hour under light acceleration.

Sounds like EGR although mine don't usually turn the engine light on.

According to the web site referenced above, the code means P24A5 Mercedes-Benz Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Cooler Bypass Control Stuck (Bank 1).
Anybody know the remedy for that?
Has anyone experienced the low speed split second cut out and back on with this?
I wanted them to reset the check engine light but they said they are not allowed.
Anyone got an easy way for me to do that without going to the dealership?
I would like to see if it was a fluke or if it comes back.

I am in Cape Coral FL. area.
Naples dealership about an hour south.
Sarasota dealership about 1.5 hrs north.
Ft Myers dealership 20 minutes away but no sprinter mechanics or service there.

I run a 24 7 Plumbing and mechanical service with this van and it kills my business when I have to leave it at a dealership.

A generic code reader will usually shut it off. I have Mercedes XENTRY system for in the shop but use just a 100.00 generic reader to reset them online.

Check the dealer, they may have a loaner sprinter you could use. The Mercedes dealer by me has one if I need it
