Diesel leak with new filter!?

Had to change my fuel filter today. I had done it once a year ago on the side of the road... This time I'm in my shop. Went pretty easy this time. Started right up but there's a leak underneath the T connector! So I disassembled and put back together. Seemed fixed went for a short drive and noticed diesel on the top ring of the filter.
Anyone have same problems? Solutions?????

Also, here's the write up I used:

it has happened when I didn't replace the O-ring under the T because it wasn't supplied with the replacement filter, or I didn't place the O-ring in the same spot.

Yep, just went through the same thing last week. Replaced fuel line new clamps, new o-rings. Still leaked. Replaced the water sensor with a new one and it stopped the leak.

Some filter brands do not have very good tolerances, or supply slightly wrong size o-rings. I had leaks with both Hastings brand fuel filters I installed. Fixed with stacked o-rings and rubber washers until I replaced with Hengst filter.

Some time ago I bought a few Hengst filters on Ebay cheap, but they came without o rings. (I didn' t know that they came without rings until I got them). Where can I get just the rings, what size are they?
Thank you!
