Mounting Spare Tire

How have any of you mounted your spare tire on the rear next to the doors? I have to mount mine there and carrier from SMB is b**t ugly.

Has anyone used the carrier sold on-line?

Here's the thread that shows what my van came with. It's very solid and doesn't put weight on the door hinges.

Thanks for the pointer to the photos. Just what I needed. Here is SMB versus yours.
The primary difference is in the bottom hardware. Looks like their's has a sleeve mount which eats up an extra 4 or 5 inches.

I told them that I would redo it on this end as I don't want to hold things up at this stage. I don't really care about the cover. I want to stay right at 20' and do not want to give up inches.
