access overhead driver compartment lights

How do I access the center overhead compartment that has the driver and passenger overhead lights? Since no one uses "screws" anymore one has to know if things just pop apart or do I need some form of special tool?

Grasp the entire plastic fixture housing, and gently pry and pull down. It is held in with a spring type clip. It takes a bit of oomph to pull it out. Once you do it once, you will see how it works.
