I bought this van 2003, cranks but won't start, once I prime low pressure pump it will start, but gas light turns on and once I turn off van I can see lair being sucked in in line from filter to low pressure pump, it will star again only if I repeat process , I already change filter, fuel line and rubber seals on fuel lines coming out of hight pressure pump, any ideas how to fix this?
Contaminated diesel?

Probably air leaking into the fuel filter at the water drain screw, or water sensor seal.
As I posted above, changing to a fuel filter with no holes or drains in the bottom solved my air in fuel problems.
You can try not tightening the drain screw as tight and see if that stops the air leak (most people overtighten) , or re-seating the water sensor ( very difficult to know if it's in correctly), but since that didn't work for me I went with a different fuel filter design.
