Hello! I'm on the verge of buying a 118" T1N that currently seats 8 (2 + 3 + 3). This will fit our family fine, but on occasion we'd like to haul a few guests. Has anyone installed a 3rd rear facing row of seats in the "trunk"? Is there enough room? Clearly the floor would have to be modified with mounting hardware...

In essence, is there a way to fit more than 8 people in a 118?

Thoughts?

Thanks!
Aaron

The second seat row ends about the wheel wells. You might be able to get a fold down seat off the back doors. Or you could install hand loops and three could stand behind the seat.
But none of that would be legal.
You could go limo style and put bean bags all round.

I have found that a two-person middle seat from a VW Vanagon is very easy to install, and light-weight enough for one person to install/remove, unlike the very heavy, cumbersome Sprinter seats. Should be fairly easy to find in a junked vanagon.
