I have a 2003 2500 that has 2 missing switches in the center console. the wires are labeled "S48" and "S126"
does anyone know what these switches are for?
Thanks

If you can post your VIN, I can look it up on the Mercedes Benz EPC (electronics parts catalog). The EPC can be VIN specific and will list your Sprinter as it left the factory. If you are uncomfortable posting it, you can send a PM and I'll pass it back to you.

If you have no switches at all, the S48 is probably the traction control ASR (anti-skid recovery) off switch, and the S126 is probably the doors' lock-unlock switch (door ajar indicator)

I'd try a junkyard i think they all have those two switches

I would go to a auto recycler/ junk yard but you can buy them new for approx. $35 ea at Berry Sprinter Parts as seen here http://www.sprinterparts.net/dodge-sprinter-parts.html
look under electrical switches for Traction control switch, and Central Locking switch

DIYDAN, here is your Sprinter's instrument panel build list. The part number listing is based on your VIN - so only the parts and switches you should have will be listed. The diagram shows all the components and different switches available.
