Hello all
I've had an intermittent power and smoke problem with my04 since I bought her about a year ago. Changed the O2 sensor seamed to help for a few months then the resonator then she started to squeal so I decided to go to Freightliner here in south Fla. bad move $500 later they put an aluminum resonator on didn't check codes told me I probably have a bad turbo. $1500 later I installed one to no avail!Bought scan gaugeII came up with these codes, changed the O2 sensor and still no luck! Reading about the turbo chirp I believe I have an exhaust leak with a good turbo and actuator in a box! Can anyone help me with these codes and get the power back!

Sorry to be vag but here are some stats idle @678rpm 27% load 14.4 map @2000 rpm99% load @17map the actuator arm moves but not full stroke although it dose on start up P0130 1/1 O2 Sensor heater relay malfuntion P2245-O2 sensor voltage circut low. Checked voltage at the O2 plug and found 13.6VDC GY/WT-RD/DG. also checked voltage at the actuator found good 13.6 YL/WT- YL/B+ 11.4 YL/DG control for a few seconds when I clear the "pending codes". She did chirp for a short time with good map pressure @20 with power but that was short. Am I barking up the right tree?

Just as a side note, turbos ALMOST NEVER go bad! If someone tells you that you need a new turbo, consider a learned second opinion!

And if they do one and it doesn't cure the problem, insist on your money back!
