Resetting Fault Codes

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere but I couldn't find it. Is it possible to reset the check engine light. I just had a P2457 error code (second one in 6 weeks) I'm 2000 miles from home and my code reader won't let me reset it. I used to have a Dodge Cummins and I could reset the light. Can I do this with my Sprinter?

Off the top of my head that sounds/feels like an EGR fault or system related ???

It will be a Global OBD2 recognized fault so a quick trip into Autozone (NA in Calif) or an Advanced Auto should be ale to clear it for you most likely FOC.

I can as well if you are in Denver metro area, even give you some pointers on what is causing it to go on the fritz with one of the scanners we have available.
