Transmission fluid level again

I have just completed a full tranny oil change with the kit from europarts with 8 liters of oil and after looking at the visual from Sikwan and after putting all 8 liters in and everything warmed up, my oil level is barely touching the dipstick which was also purchased from europarts. My question is, can I safely add more fluid?

Own a DAD ODB2 Unit.
Is the transmission in park, with the engine running and fully warmed up when you measured it?

I thought 7 liters was all it holds (as I recall it from the last time I did a transmission service).

oregonjarhead,
Did you drain the torque convertor as well?
Is your new dipstick going all the way down until the "ears"/"flaps" on the plastic tip engage the
radiused diameter of where the fill tube goes into the transmission housing?
Have you tried twisting/turning the top of the dipstick to different angles to see it it goes in further
in a particular orientation?
How much of the spring stem on your dipstick is still sticking out of the fill tube?
Also what year (again) is your Sprinter? What model (T1N or NCV3)

The complete fill after the pan drop and TC drain is 8 qts and 4 oz which is 7.7l. 8 liters should be more than enough. I'm assuming you have a T1N since this is in the T1N section????
