Driver side oil leak (pics)

Picked up a 2007 Itasca Navion with 50k miles.

So, 2006 Sprinter 3500 Chassis with the 2.7L 5cyl turbo-diesel.

Changed the oil/air filter at 51k miles and it now has 54k miles.

After our last trip (500 mile r/t) I noticed an oil leak on the driver side on the driveway. Having a hard time locating the leak and need some help from more knowledgeable T1N owners. Read the threads pertaining to the turbo supply and return lines, not sure if that applies to this. The oil filter sleeve is secure to the housing and tightened to spec. It seems as if it is originating from the MAF looking connection/hose that exits the top of the radiator, but I really don't know and any help would be appreciated.

It is most likely coming from the MAF and IAT sensor mount and everyone who owns a T1N has the same issue and it is normal. You cannot solve it, just make sure the clamps are tight and there is no hole anywhere.

We do get a noticeable amount of oil through the crankcase breather into the air ductwork as Skydiver says so it could just be that, but also I'm thinking this may be in the vicinity of the power steering pump and lines to the cooling loop - these use special screw up clamps not cheap worm drive types, if yours has worm drives where the PS hoses connect to the cooling loop suspect the PS system too.

How is the air con? it could be a long term slow refrigerant oil leak as the pipes look like air con ones.

Check your oil filter cap. I had similar problem after oil change.
Turned out, I hadn't tighten the cap or it worked loose.

Wiggled most of the fittings and everything feels tight. no apparent cracks. Relieved if this is the case.

Will look into this if the leak continues.

We picked up the Navion (a.k.a. Narwhal) from Tuscon in October, haven't run the A/C since. But could have had heavy duty A/C usage before us. The engine bay was spotless when we acquired it.(private sale)

The oil cap is tightened to spec and clean. Ask me how I know.

The ones that look like Aircon, I think are below the oil leak - but I was having trouble trying to work out orientation despite the captions!

I can't actually identify the PS lines/pump just thinking mine is high up on that side, but it is a different engine hence the "may be in the vicinity" could also be "maybe not in the vicinity" :D:
