With the electric heater water circulation pump from Mercedes or any other supplier selling the Bosch 0392020026 pump, costing an absolute fortune - has anyone found an alternative 12v pump capable of taking the heat? Because the pump is sited in an accessible place with plenty of room round it, it seems to me that there must be lots of much lower priced alternatives. Any suggestions?

Anyone knows of a brushless pump, even if it costs a bit more? Those brushes wear out way too fast.

I was going to heat the Sprinter with the optional Espar Hydronic diesel heater. While researching for a pump to circulate hot water from heat exchanger back to the truck cab radiator/fan, I found a 12 volt brushless centrifugal pump with a similiar flow rate to the stock Mercedes pump. I bought the Topsflo TS5 pump from Heliatos (661-776-5277). I suspect this pump would be an improvement over the stock Mercedes pump. Cost was something like $60.00.
