Replaced the fan blower resistor and the motor ( I had purchased it earlier before learning about the resistor) Everything works on the heater a/c panel except the fan speed control. It is supposedly non repairable and must be replaced as part of thr heater a/c control module. $532.00. I'm hoping there may br something I'm missing. I'm in the process of checking connections. Thanks for any sugestions. Skip

Refresh my memory. You're driving a 2002 Freightliner Sprinter, 140WB with an OM647 engine you swapped out for the original OM612?

Actually Jon I have a 2006 that I bought new. 140 wb standard roof. The motor is original. When I put in the new resistor and blower motor, I then opened up the dash and pulled out the ac/heater control module. With the truck running I got the fan blower to come on twice. I am thinking that it could be the circuit board but it looks like most of the wiring for the fan avoids the board and goes direct into the fan speed switch, Thanks, Skip
