Haven't torn into it yet but the flashers don't work. Nothing when you push the switch down. The blinkers do work.

However, if the blinker is on the blinker stops if I push the switch, so I know the switch is doing something.

Any ideas? I have looked yet to see where the flasher relay is.

Probably need to change the blinker fluid.

As far as I know, only MB uses a blinker lubricant and coolant.

Not available from the aftermarket, about $100 / bottle.

However, if you don't want to go that route, I believe the fuse box under the steering column (With the impenetrable / un-reinstallable cover) is where the relay is located. This fuse block can be the cause of many problems, due to bad solder joints, oxidized contacts, bad contacts etc.

Several threads around here, just search for blinkers and or fuse block.

Full schematics are in both the 2003 and 2006 service manuals available here: http://aie-services-2.net/Sprinter/ (section 8w)

All of the switches (directional, hazard, headlights, wipers) are embedded in the single "multifunction switch" assembly.

good luck
