my engine light came on today on my 2007 sprinter and i'm trying to figure out how to find this Intake Manifold Control Runner where is it located any recomendations or pictures how does it look. any ideas how much it costs, to replace this.

If you did a generic scan ( Scan Gauge II/ UltraGauge EM or any scan tool other than the MB SDS at an Authroized MB Sprinter Dealer), and then looked up the code on a generic
DTC codes list, you probably do not have a "Intake Manifold Control Runner".
Sprinters might have them, but I've never heard the term before, but when I Google it, it applies to all kinds of domestic cars (Fords/Chevys. etc.
Can you tell us what kind of scanner you are using?
There are no scanners currently available to the general public that completely interface with the MB diagnostic protocols.
MB SDS at the dealer is the only fully comprehensive tool.

sorry to break this to you but your intake port shut off flaps are gunked up with soot causing your swirl pot actuator to jam. wish i had a picture to show you but i don't. its an expensive fix due to both left and right intake ports need replacement. in order to replace them, turbo has to come out.
