I'm thinking that I would like to install a seat type cover on the rear folding seat, which turns into a bed. My thought is that I have some "padding" that will be under the sheets.
I use yoga/exercise mats. I put 2 stacked across seat when sofa is up and spread one on each side when extended to bed. These are made to be non-slip and are somewhat moisture barrier. Also roll-up if want to store or take to work-out class. Look around--varying density and resiliency.
