Espar retrofit?

I got a Sprinter that DIDN'T come with a heat booster. The RV has it's own noisy furnace, but it kills the battery and keeps us up. I could get a blue flame heater to run in the RV and run the risk of asphyxiation, but I have that space behind the headlight and could put in a real Espar, not a Mercedes version and use it to heat the hot water and have a blower in the back to heat the RV and do it all using very little fuel, but also not die from the exhaust.

Has anyone done this? Is this the first time such a thread has existed?

Using any hydronic system for heating over a typical RV propane heater will not yield you any savings in electricity. The hydronic unit uses current, the recirculating pump uses current, and the heat-exchanger blower/fan uses current. Using a diesel air furnace will use less than both previously mentioned.
