12' Sprinter Tow Hitch.... Problems?

Hey everyone I need to add a tow hitch to my sprinter.
I heard from an install place that they keep having issues with one of their customers. Seems as if he constantly busting electrical modules built into the Sprinter.
Has anyone have any suggestions?

I was also told by Draw Tite to buy a power module to avoid using power from the sprinter lights themselves.

Thoughts?

Did you use the "search" function? I don't know the answer to your questions about the NCV3, but in the T1Ns, everything you have said is true, too. I'll bet someone before you has installed a hitch and the wiring and did a write up on it.
