Not sure, the temp sensor sounds high for sure, does that include diagnostics? Why the front drive shaft assy. I've seen a lot of center (carrier) bearings go bad that cause that noise. You can get the bearing assy just by itself for a lot less. Also, while you are there check that rear pinion seal. Been seeing a lot of those leaking differential fluid lately.
