I am having a reading of -40 degrees from my boost air temperature sensor. BTS

I have seen this sensor referred to many times in posts.

Where is it. Is it part of another sensor?
Looked through sensor parts list and did not find it listed.

I also have a Intake air sensor DTC. CEL
Intake sensor ordered.

Thanks

-40 means that the sensor is either disconnected or has broken "open".
It's the reading you get when the sensor has infinite resistance.

As far as i can tell, "BTS" and "IAT sensor" are one and the same
(i.e. two names, one part)

This will give an approximate idea of where it is, what it looks like. Look over near the EGR. vic

Edit: For general information. This is the Boost Pressure Sensor. Unrelated in operation to the IAT, but it is mounted right next to the temp sensor so you might be wondering.

Does the Boost Pressure switch also measure the Boost Pressure Temp reading, or does IAT sensor produce that temp reading
