Rear Door Locks

Hi,

I would like to add a rear door lock system to my 04' 140WB HC. Slick locks makes a cool design, but seems not to favor Sprinters.

Are there other designs/products to consider? I have a secure bulkhead behind the cab, so cargo access is only through the back. If anyone has any experience with retrofitting a locking system on their rear door, it would be great to get some feedback.

OEM? Parts from Berry's.

I fitted Multilock cylinders into Euro style deadlocks on all four doors. It's a minor faff having to individually unlock / lock them, but I only need to do that a couple of times a day typically and in any case it's nowhere near as much aggravation as a break in. The standard door locks aren't difficult to overcome sadly.

Extra deadlocks are a good visual deterrent but only one part of a wider security plan.

I did look at Armaplates too, but they seem like an expensive Elastoplast for the standard locks to me. There are also some slam lock products on the market for parcel vans.
