I entered my Vin,> clicked to the right of the vin box,> clicked van and got a blank page.

I have a 2006 Freightliner shc2500 (long tall, 158W/B)

Did I mis-click ? Is there another way to enter my Vin ?
Is there another way to extract my needed info ?
Were the Mayans right ?

Same here. I can browse through the existing lists without issue but my VIN doesn't yield anything.

The utility for US/Canadian owners is limited, but not entirely worthless.

To use it, you need to know your chassis number. Chassis numbers are found on your datacard, shown in several places, but the easiest for me is to look at the "Internal VIN."

If you don't want to spend the $12.00 per year for the epc.startekinfo.com "World Passenger Car and Light Transport" subscription, then call an MB or FL Sprinter dealership.

Give the parts counter person your VIN, ask for your "Internal VIN." Your chassis number will be the first 6 digits of your internal VIN.

My internal VIN starts with WDY9066331S.

Therefore, my chassis is a 906.633

Go to the page, select "Van." Skip the VIN because, as Richard indicated, US/Canadian VINs are unique in the world.

Then search for your chassis designation:

36861

Select a market (I'm using Europe)
36862

Select the Parts Group (I'll try wheels - group 40)
36863

If there's a subgroup, select it (I'll select sub-group "030")
36864

.. and you're there...
36865

I entered my VIN and got all kinds of great info on my 2002 Van. It even gives the color of the van which of course is Artic White.

How do you get it to come up in the English language? All I get is Russian.

Right click on your mouse and 'Translate to English'.

Hi
I found this parts data base for people not in North America.
http://www.partsbase.org/mercedes/van/
Go down to S for Sprinter and the models are listed there !
No vin but seems to fit mine when i select the model from my vin.
Or this one !
http://mercedes-benz-teile.info/view_AutoAction.php?lang=E&mode=BM&vin=WBD9034632P987568&class=3&aggtyp=FG&catalog=35F&model=903463&spmno=0&spmaggtyp=M
The vin function did not recognise mine.

Ummm.....why not just pay the $12.00 fee and get the Global MB Parts Data Base available on
epc.startekinfo?
Here's the link:
http://epc.startekinfo.com/epc/home.jsp
Enter your VIN # and you can get the data card, and info on all the options and parts that went
into your Sprinter.
I pull data for Sprinters all over the globe on startekinfo....even for other MB platforms.
Hope this helps,
Roger
