Now Now......the Guilford tree is remarkable:bow: by the fact it still stands in area of population. Shes a proud old oak that's defied all odds of survival.
True America has the majestic Redwood trees.

Now step back into History ..Sorry Tasmania has the tallest hardwood trees on the world and they are massive.
Here a few look at the girth of the tree it's an old Timer.Specie Eucalyptus E: Regnanus local name swamp Gum.] she's standing at 101 Meters with a full crown, it's estimated 20Plus meters was blown off a few decades ago, hence the new crown regrowth..

The last photo I took over twenty years ago No it's not America or Canada, and no they are not pine trees a such but... Huon Pine, all over one to ten thousand years old. The medium Tasmanian Huon Pines shown, were here before Christ walked this earth. average age 2000 thousand years old Plus.
