Hi, coming in from a recent trip the engine light came on. I drove home in emergecy mode. My 2009 sprinter 3500 has 13000 miles on it. I found one report that states there is a problem with them failing. Has anyone else have or had this problem?
Dodge Sprinter 3500 Problem
Model Years Affected: 2004, 2005, 2009
RepairPal Verified "Air temperature sensor may fail"
The intake temperature sensor may fail resulting in illumination of the Check Engine Light and various driveability concerns. Our technicians tell us the intake air temperature reading on the scan tool should be within 10 degrees F of the actual ambient temperature, if it's not the intake temperature sensor should be replaced.
