My sprinter has 115k on it and it had a new transmission last fall. The trans installer said that the u joints on the shaft were starting to go bad and the bearing was also badly worn too. So with that info I found a shop that is now making replacement shafts for the sprinters. His shop is located in South Windsor, CT. and goes by the name of Advance driveshaft service. The shop owner is Tony and I can not say enough good about this guy. He does the shaft with all serviceable (grease-able) joints and custom lengths. You can call him at 860-289-9990.
