Hi guys,
I am trying to buy oil and filters for the first time. I went to the euro cars website and to amazon and it seems shipping is very expensive. What options do I have? thanks!

Since you have a 2007 or later NCV3 with the V6 engine, you need oil that meets the
229.51 MB Specification sheet.
I would try your local Pep Boys as they often carry (or can order for you from their warehouse) the correct Low Ash (good for your Particulate filter) oil.

The correct oil (factory fill I believe) is Mobil 1 ESP Formula M 5W-40.

Here's a link to the MB BEVO 229.51 list of approved products.

You won't find it a WalMart.
You can probably have your local auto parts store order it for you.

Or as Talkinghorse43 suggests, order the oil from his source.

Or order an oil change "kit" from EuroParts-SD for $198.90.
You get an approved Spec. oil and a good filter.

You can choose Fuch's 229.51 oil or Mobil 1 ESP Formula M 5W-40.
The "ESP" is an abbreviation of Emissions System Protection, and
the approved oils are all "Low Ash".
Hope this helps,
Roger
