Hi I just bought a brand new 2008 Dodge sprinter I was wondering were is the battery on the truck because i need to hook up a power inverter.

Starting battery under driver's feet. Auxiliary battery if supplied in the engine compartment. Read the manual and search this forum.

can i connect my power inverter to the starter battery?

You can connect to starter battery, but if you'll be using the invertor more than 5 minutes you should run the engine. Ideally it would be better to connect to auxillary battery as it is a deeper cycle .

I'll tell you another interesting point... I bet the dealer or Chrysler hasn't finished paying for it either... :thumbdown:

Post does not say what he bought but there were a ton of left over 2008 chassis at RV converters when the market dropped. Most of that inventory is now a Class C RV's but some still in the retail pipe line. This left over inventory also causes the question when does my warranty start? on other postings.........

Most likely now needs a battery after sat dead (with no charge maintenance) in inventory for a loooong time...........

Yes i did it had only 60,XXX miles on it
