Parking Light behavior '06 2500

Hello, I am having an electrical problem https://sprinter-source.com/forums/images/smilies/hmmm.gif(stalling when brake pedal pushed) and have noticed that when the key is not in, when the parking light is turned on, nothing happens until the turn signal is clicked either up or down. When both parking light and right or left turn signal are on, the blinker turns on without flashing. My question is, is this normal?? I don't know if this is part of my other problem or it is normal. Can someone with an '06 2500 check if theirs does the same before I start tracing this out??
