Help with 12v switched power??

2010 170" 2500

I have been frustrated trying to find a fuse that is switched 12v power. I tried attaching the head unit to the windshield wipers, power windows, and radio (al of which are switched on most cars!?) with no luck, the head unit is just on the whole time.

Any help would save me some more frustration.

Add an external power switch, that way you kill two birds with one stone. You can kill the power when you don't need it, and that will pay the dividend of not drawing power and draining the battery when you don't use the vehicle for longer periods of time.

Look under the steering column .... at least on a T1N ...

The only one on an '08 that i know of is the EK1 terminal under the drivers seat.

So it turns out that the 2010 sprinter runs power to all the switched 12v for about 30 seconds after you shut off the van. This would have made my life a lot easier had I known this when I started...
