Today have received an email from Nissan. Check this out:

For me the Sprinter is the most beautiful van, period. We will see, the Iveco by Fiat, probably in 2012, which Dodge will sell

The Iveco looks like a direct 'chinese' copy of the sprinter... while the Nissan looks like crap & comes w/ a gas engine

Thanks for the post

It will be interesting to see how the Iveco/Fiat line gets priced when Dodge brings it over to the NAFTA market.

I just want to see if the same challenges that crippled technicians and sales people - when faced with NCV3s - is repeated with the Iveco/Fiat machines......

Chrysler will probably price it just below the Sprinter.
Interested in the bottom line rather than pricing it at the true value.
Does it have a track record in Europe?
How is it priced there in relation to the Sprinter?

the Iveco has been out here (uk) for a long time

over here, parts are a bit more expensive than other vans, but they're defenatly built to last

mine's a 2001 65C15.... so 6.5ton and 150bhp - it's done 260,000 miles and it's still going strong !

iirc, the new ones go up over 200hp, there's petrol and diesel engines with options for LPG or CHG, iirc there's only 1 petrol engine option, 170bhp
(all inline 4)

not sure about the size chart above.... the big/long/tall Iveco is blood massive.... bigger than any other van I've ever seen on the road, they go up to 4.5m long !
(just short of 15 feet)

they're used a lot for mail delivery over here, and camper conversions (because of there size)
