Hi all
I'm the proud (oh yes, very proud ) owner of a Sprinter 308D from 96.
This vehicle was originally equiped with an automatic push-button transmission.
The former owner converted it to a manual gearbox, but he didn't manage to get the speedometer or odometer hooked up though so he put a new one next to it.
I would love to put the original back on.
Unfortunatly I have no idea on the connections, as the original speedometer cable was connected to the push-button electronic board, and then through a big wiring harness into the cluster.
Is there anyone here that would be able to identify where I should connect my speedometer cable to?
Here's a picture of the back of my cluster. I dismantled its innards too but I can't get make much sense of the PCB.
Does anyone know the pin # or wire colour code for each wire going on the black and the white plugs, Stecker 1 and 2?
and a few diagrams found on the internet too.
I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!!
