My 2008 (9400 miles) RV 3.0L has got a problem. Feels kinda like the Emergency Transmission Mode is engaging. Fluid levels are fine. Also acts like the air intake or carb may be giving a problem. Recent trip, very little acceleration. At one point coming off of Interstate and stopping for a traffic light, the unit would not move when in drive and the pedal half way down.
Book says stop, turn off for 10 seconds, restart and engage in R or D. This works sometimes, but usually goes back to same problem. Sometimes start off and it acts like it will not hardly move, then suddenly it lunges forward.
RPMs at times seem to whine up (3800) with very little movement. ???

You need to get the codes.

You need to get the codes.

Also, you can't put absolute trust in the codes provided by generic OBD-II scan equipment. Mercedes-Benz Star Diagnosis System (MB SDS) licensed for Sprinters, or either Chrysler's WiTECH or Chrysler's StarMOBILE will provide authoritative information.
