Do most Sprinters have 2 layers of Wood Floor?

My 2003 FL Sprinter 2500 SHC Cargo seems to have 2 layers of 3/8" plywood boards on the cargo floor. Is this normal or did the last owner add 1 layer? Both appear to be the same Sprinter coated wood.
If you had 2 layers and took 1 off to lighten the weight, did you have any issues with the removal and/or floor strength , structural stability?

I know I have one layer, but 3/8 (.375inches) is quite thin. I have a passenger though.

I think it's conclusive with floors for export models they're locally fitted
Mine is a simulate to seeks but its high density waterproof mbf:thinking: but not the same composite although Tuff as nails, and a good insulator.

Mine has two layers of 3/8" as well as some kind of thin black insulation and a rubber compound outside underneath the truck. The floors are painted brown, as they came from the factory.
