Hey SF,
Fairly new to this forum but we use it quite bit as reference. So here is one of the latest issues that we ran across on this 06 SPRINTER 3500 2.7L.
Customer stated there was a slight oil leak around the front of the engine. When we popped that hood we saw oil running down at the radiator expansion tank. Sure enough we took the cap off and found it completly filled with oil. We jumped on the forum and saw others had the same issue and based off what we read found the Turbo oil cooler was the problem. We verifed by filling it with water and then blowing thru it with air and sure enough there were bubbles. We used brake cleaner to flush thru the heater core, hoses and as much of the head and block that we could. We replaced the radiator as well and informed the customer that there is still residule oil in the system and will take several flushes to get it all out. We will keep you guys posted once all the oil has cleared up. (if it does)
