Ice Road Sprinter

Just spent a week in NE BC just south of the NorthWest Territories border. On one winter road (some of these roads are just open in winter, as they are just frozen muskeg and become swamp in summer) a co-worker yelled at me the passing vehicle was a Sprinter. I grabbed a camera for a couple of shots. The Sprinter passed our pickup (note the eagle feather with the horse off the mirror) like we were standing still. I've also included a couple of pics of the beauty of the boreal forest in winter - my photography doesn't do it justice - I'll add a couple more if you like.

WOW! Scary roads, whatever the vehicle. Good to see that NCV3 braving the wilderness. Nothing wrong with your photography, either.:thumbup:

Been busy for a couple of days (and watching Olympics in the few spare moments), so here are a few more.
We have: Road Hazard (two moose);
Muskeg meadow with black spruce;
My employee's eyelashes needing de-icing treatments;
Ice crystals formed by long-term cold & dry;
and looking down a seismic line.
