• 02/1991 - Establishment of the Nutzfahrzeuge Ludwigsfelde GmbH (NLG) and the Entwicklungsgesellschaft Ludwigsfelde GmbH (EGL) Production launch of the Mercedes-Benz truck LK (LN2)

• 09/1991 - Production launch of the Mercedes-Benz van T2 (LN1)
