Rain mixed with snow around here, but rain for the rest of the week. The storm drain across the street plugged up again and I had a river coming down my driveway and into the garage! Took a rake over and cleaned it out. It is amazing how small an amount of leaves it takes to completely block a 2x3 foot grill.
Trying to get the county to pour a berm across the road or put a better grill on the drain. No luck so far. Nice to have a good roof, though. Last time we had a heavy rain, I had water coming in in six places; including one wall that had a hole big enough for a toy poodle to walk through. Been a lot of work, but the place assessed at $75K more than we paid for it.
