Hi there i am new to this forum and am in the process of refurbing my 310d 1998 sprinter.
Bought it cheap but only has 96000 miles on and everything is a s sweet as a nut except the bodywork. Body repair is my job so no real problems doing it except as i have no manual i can not work out how to remove the window winders so that i can reapir the cab doors. Sorry if i sound like a bit of a numpty but i dont want to damage anything by trying to force them off. ![]() Thanks in advance for any help you can give me, will try to post pics soon. |

So, look for the collar that sits in between the winder handle and the door card. If you carefully rotate the collar and try pushing it sideways in different directions you'll find at one point it will slide sideways rather neatly - then you can pull the winder off.
Prise the door handle plastic away to reveal the door card fixings, the card just lifts off. Forest of Dean - nice part of the world, there's a staircase in the woods you know...! Simon
